MONICA’S STYLE: Ever-changing. Some days its all about dark hues and grunge whereas others I’ll dress as smart as if I’m going for an interview. My style ultimately depends on my mood and what I want to express through my clothing that day.
INSPIRATION: The initial spark of an outfit idea can come from anywhere. I live in a beautiful place so I’m inspired a lot by nature but also I love to browse on lookbook.nu and see anything from colour combinations and statement jewelery that will suddenly inspire me. I also love to go charity shopping and scanning eBay, never quite knowing what I’ve going to discover.
FASHION HERO: Olivia Palermo hands down. She’s just a goddess. She never fails to look flawless and exerts empowerment and I love how each outfit makes a different statement.
FAVORITE TREND OF THE MOMENT: Pastel hues and pleats. That’s all I’ll be wearing this spring/summer. Nudes, mints and pale yellows. I think 3.1 Phillip Lim and Jaeger have been revolutionary this season and I’m excited to see soft shades and pleats transform into street style. I also love collars at the moment. I like to tweak high street or vintage pieces by customizing with studs or adding collar necklaces underneath.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE WINTERTIME ACTIVITY? Drinking tea, hanging out with my friends and watching Pretty Little Liars.STAPLE ITEMS FOR WINTER: Fur coats - I can’t get enough.
